The worst day of my life

Hi I am Charles. Nice to meet you. I do singing lessons. One day the singing inspector came. His name was Raymond. He wears huge knickerbockers. He wears these long stockings. His eyes are round and his face is red and he has eyes that look like blue gooseberries. My friends and I think that he is the most hateful person ever. The singing inspector called all of us into a big room except for Jack Long and Paulus who do exams and not singing lessons. We had to warm up our voices by singing doh ray me fan and tata tete things, it was really weird. Mr R called out my name, he also called out Benny name. I was so scared.Mr R said sing for us, but both of us didn’t no any song. Mr R pointed at the modelater. He got angry because we didn’t know any song. I finally started singing pretty  Polly in a weak kind of voice. Then Benny started singing pretty Polly in a high voices because he was scared.

    Hello Mathew. I really liked your blog! I'm really glad our teachers in these days are not like that anymore. The singing inspector does sound scary. I've never seen someone whose eyes look like blue gooseberries.

In February 2018 we went on a camp to Simonsberg. We went with the Guinea Fowls. We went to Giraffe House, and we got to hold snakes and we also got to feed animals. When we got to Simonsbrerg we got to play in the in the forest. Me Mano, Adam.N, Daniel and Lebone pretended that we were survivors.  We got to swim. We went on a zip line it was very fun. A day in the life of a child in a informal settlement

Hi my name is Bob. Nice to meet you. Every morning I have to wake up at 5am because I have get my school clothes ready. It takes me 1 hour to get to school and the worst thing about that is I have to walk to school with a empty stomach. My family and I struggle with money because my dad and my mom don’t work so we have hardly any food and nearly all my clothes are to small for me. I have to walk to school barefoot so my feet get really soar. We have to walk to a bathroom and the bathroom is a hole so sometimes the small kids fall in the whole. I always get sick because of all the germs from all the rubbish lying around. I go to a government school. We have no libraries so we can not study from books. Kids play in the dam and they get sick because there is so much rubbish and there is rubbish that is sharp and can cut the kids. When I go to the hospital I wait so long for the doctor to see me because there are 3000 people and only one doctor. When I have homework I have to do homework ...

Our camp at High Africa

On the way to camp I sat next to Christopher and we ate our snack and we played top trumps. When we got to camp they showed us our cabins and our number of our cabin was number 4. The people that were in my cabin were Lilhta, Marc, Christopher and me. After that we had to go to the hall and then they split us into 5 groups and my group was number 3. The first thing we did was we had to make up our own wall cry’s. Than we played a rock,paper scissors tournament. After that we had supper and we had cottage pie. On that night we also had the night hike witch was really fun. The next morning we had cereal and toast for breakfast. Then we went of into our 5 teams and we did a activity called the leap of faith. So this is what we had to do we had to climb up a ladder and go up on a pole then we had to jump for a metal pole and I made it. That night we made potjies and in the potjie was vegetables and meat. It was the best potjie I have ever eaten. C
